The SPM and SPF rod ends are ideal for many light, medium and heavy duty industrial and mechanical motion transfer applications. SPM and SPF series, which are also our most popular rod end series, have a reinforced injection molded nylon raceway design. Delivering self lubricating characteristics, low maintenance, as well as moisture resistant properties, for increased overall versatility. The ball, which is case hardened for extended wear, along with other body materials are made from an economical low carbon steel with plating of zinc and yellow dichromate treatment for increased resistance to corrosion. These are best suited for applications which demand low friction, low moisture absorption, wide operating temperatures and high wear resistance.
