Suitable for many ultimate strength, precision motion control applications, the UMAX-T Series gives you the ultimate in heavy duty performance and superior cosmetic finish for a PTFE lined, 3-piece precision rod end design. As compared to our NSMX-T Rod End, the UMAX-T body housing is machined with an increased head diameter, thus increasing the overall strength even more.
The ball is produced from bearing quality steel that is thru hardened and finish ground, adding to its precision fit and increased wear performance. Head diameter is considerably larger for added strength in critical working areas. The body component is produced from heat treated alloy steel, while the raceway is machined from low carbon steel. Permanently bonded PTFE liner minimizes wear within the body's inner bearing surface, reducing maintenance and increasing rod end life. The body is bright electroless nickel plated for superior corrosion resistance and superior appearance. Perfect for many automotive and racing applications.
